Our First Southern California Training!

Registration for this YAE Training was especially for WLAC students and open to others from 4th graders to adults as well.

The training included an environmental fair complements of WLAC and the Los Angeles Community College District.

The training was free, thanks to the commitment of WLAC to bringing this program to the community.

This training was led by some of our amazing YAE climate leaders: Callie Greene, Jinny Okumura, and Sam Parks. VIP guest speakers included remarks by West Los Angeles College President Jim Limbaugh and Sierra Club Conservation Program Manager Angeles Chapter Kim Orbe.

It was a blast! Students from age 9 to 50 learned a lot and had a great time.

If you feel able, there is an optional, tax-deductible donation of $36 per student.
