Registration for this YAE Training was open to all 4th-12th graders and adults.
The training was free, thanks to the generosity of Razib Shahriar Shishir of Cool Islam and our co-sponsor, Qdoba Mexican Grill of Hillsboro. Qdoba joined Cool Islam in supporting this training thanks to the work of Lola Fernandez, Catering Manager, and Stan Kramer, the owner of Qdoba Mexican Grill of Hillsboro.

This training was led by some of our amazing YAE climate leaders: Bhargav Sundaresan, Salma Nassar, Srivatsav Sundaresan, and Shreyank Shivaprakash.
VIP guest speakers included Cherice Bock, Creation Justice Advocate, Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon and Oregon Interfaith Power & Light; Qasim Syed, City of Beaverton Climate Action Task Force; and Nadia Hasan, City Councilor of the City of Beaverton.
It was a blast! Students from age 8.5 to 39 learned a lot and had a great time.
