Pre-Academy Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service—Portland’s Johnson Creek Area

Great News! This event is full–please join us for another event if you aren’t already registered for this one.

Register for a Plant for the Planet Academy in Portland or Vancouver, then, for a few hours of fun and service, join us on MLK Day, Monday, January 18, 2016, (refreshments included) to pick up a shovel and meet Climate Justice Ambassador Noah Clark at Westmoreland Park in Portland, Oregon!

The work party is from 9:00am-12:00pm at Westmoreland Park. We will be working with the Johnson Creek Watershed Council, Crystal Springs Partnership, and Portland Bureau of Environmental Services to remove weeds and plant native wetland plants in this newly restored park and community gem. For details about this volunteer opportunity, visit: http://jcwc.org/events/mlk-day-restoration-event/.
Email vergun@alumni.stanford.edu to register for this FREE event and mention you are a future Plant for the Planet Ambassador!
